Taxi drivers, queue marshals and commuters are currently undergoing screening for cancer at the Bara Taxi Rank in Soweto, Johannesburg.
This is part of an initiative between taxi organisation Santaco and the Pink Drive Campaign, as the world commemorates World Cancer Day.
The initiative will be rolled-out to all the taxi ranks around the country.
From as early as 6am on Thursday morning there were long queues outside the pink mobile cancer screening trucks, stationed at the Bara Taxi Rank.
